A Terrible Place To Live
I started this Blog to help travelers and people in tucson see what I have seen over the past 10 years, All I could find on the internet were Pictures of Mt Lemon( which is partially burnt down), The desert Museum, Sabino Canyon, Neighborhoods North of River, and Saguaro National Monument. This only represents 10% of Tucson, The majority of this town is completely run down, crime ridden, and down right disgusting.
I was born and raised here, over the past 10 years I have watched the town I once loved change astronomically, It is a terrible place to live, and an even worse town to try and raise a family.
It is a great place to live if you enjoy carrying a gun in your waist, dealing drugs, and robbing innocent people, if this is the lifestyle you choose to live than you will feel right at home here in Tucson.
The Summers are unbearable it gets to be 120 at times, with very few activities for relief, there are some resort pools to cool off at, if you can get a room, if you do they are discounted so much in the summer that the pool is filled with low life's and drunks.
There is truly no relief from the heat you are a prisoner in your own home during the day time hours, you are forced to go out at night when it is cooler, needless to say this is when the majority of thugs, gang bangers, and drug addicts roam the streets.
We do not have any sports teams to watch, everyone down here makes a huge deal about a college football team (The Wildcats) a total joke! They tailgate down by the U of A before games, it is sad to watch this town try and do it like the big boys (AZ Cardinals) up in PHX.
Tucson has a terrible problem with the homeless population, they are not like trendy homeless kids they are like, scary, drug addict mentally ill homeless people. They flock here due to the dry climate and warm winters, in the dead of summer they move into Psychiatric facilities and shelters, in the winter they roam the streets and stand on traffic islands panhandling.
If you are thinking of moving here "DO NOT DO IT" If you live here and are thinking of leaving, get out before it gets worse, or you end up dead. I will be leaving here real soon and never coming back.

Worst City In Arizona to Live
Arizona may be known for its gorgeous natural scenery, but according to one study, the Grand Canyon State may be home to one of the worst U.S. cities to live in.
To determine America’s 50 worst cities, 24/7 Wall St. looked at data on 551 U.S. cities with a population over 65,000 analyzing the cities with variables such as crime rates, employment growth, education, and housing affordability.
According to the results, Tucson is "one of the only cities in the Southwest to rank among the worst places to live." Although, it did place near the middle of the list at No. 28.
"Tucson’s economy has grown slower than most cities’ in recent years, and unemployment in the area remains slightly above the national rate," the website writes. "Tucson also struggles with one of the highest property crime rates in the country."
Detroit, according to the results, was the worst on the list.

Of course our economy is tanked. LibTard dems ruin everything. Join a gang and the free sh*t army.
ReplyDeleteNot a native to this godforsaken shithole, thanks for small blessings. This place is a slum! They deliberately started Tucson's downward spiral in the 1970s from what I've told. The mayor created a slogan akin to, "If we don't build roads, THEY won't come." The THEY is Big Business, outsiders from other states bringing with them culture and education, anything that resembles modernity and progress. Only one major highway and roads full of pot holes. Liberal city? That's laughable. This town is full of racists, homophobes, and generally ass backwards idiots. There are no good parks, no fine dining, the Downtown is tiny and not like a hot and popping city scene. No tech companies, no warehouses, huge amount of joblessness and low wages at the jobs that ARE here so you better love flipping burgers. Water runs out of the tap black if you don't run it for a couple days because it comes from the sewer and it smells like ass when you take a shower. Rundown and boarded up buildings everywhere, broken glass and garbage everywhere. Homeless encampments in every abandoned lot and squatters in every falling down, empty house, of which there are many, people begging on corners. There is no interest here in helping the homeless and drug-addicted, even though half the apartments in this town are empty and the greedy property management companies are vultures who will eagerly suck the lifeblood out of the corpses who get caught up in this desert hell. They hate out-of-towners moving in but they will sure try to take your money and then railroad you out of town. I could go on but I'd have to write a book because I have enough material to fill hundreds of pages. Anyone considering the desert, do yourself a huge favor and avoid this dump. The locals don't want you here messing up their hillbilly heaven anyway, so leave them to root around in their pigsty.
ReplyDeleteI have seriously got to move out of this backward town! How the hell did I end up here?!
ReplyDeleteAnd what’s seriously weird is that when I talk about wanting to move, Tucsonans try to dissuade me from moving saying things like, the grass is always greener on the other side, make the best of it, etc. I’ve been writing daily gratitudes to help me survive Tucson so I am trying to make the best of it. I feel like I’m in a Tucson cult where Tucsonans feel threatened by anyone leaving what they want to believe is utopia. A lot of the people here are seriously backward. And this town is supposed to be liberal.
